What's Up. Heck I don't find my way here too often with all the other sites I am currently in.
Sorry for not being around so much. I don't think I have a huge following, but the one or two of
you that do follow, here I am. In the many months since my last post I have been trying to get a
class reunion off the ground, start a new relationship, change my status as a homeowner and lose
weight. I still miss my Mom to distraction at times. She was always my "go to girl" and even tho
I have wonderful friends I miss having her there for sound advise...even tho I didn't always take
it. My art work is still ongoing, but I haven't been in the trades as much lately. I'm thinking my
friends on Nervousness.vb are missing me. I wanted to get away this summer as the winter was
long, dark and lonely. So far I've been to California twice to see my friends and my new guy. It
isn't easy having a romance longdistance but he is so very understanding and flexible, who knew.
I am a very blessed lady. So, my friends that's it for today.

It's almost that time again...another year older. So in these last weeks we have had so much snow and severe cold temps to deal with. We had a moose visit us for about a week, just enough time to eat the buds off the little fruit trees. Oh well, circle of life. If you want to see picture join Facebook. It's good to see that my picture was successful (even if my spelling isn't). I'm having a good time getting reconnected with old friends and new ones. I wish I could do two or three things at once.
Since it is so cold I need to build a fire in the woodstove but I'd rather be blogging.

Wish this acid-reflux would give me a break. I hate trying to go to sleep and waking up with all this burning. Yikes.

Got alot of mail out today...slowly making the deco pile become smaller and smaller. I hope to be out from under it soon.

On Vacation

Just relaxing and doing a little housekeeping here in California. Went to the Casino last night
and we won enough to go shopping at our favorite craft store after filling the tank with gas and buying baby diapers....much needed items for this household. I like being a (grandma) to my God
Daughter. My little miss Morgan is the sweetest and most entertaining little person I've yet to meet. Just want her to stay a baby forever. It's really hot here and I'm just getting use to it but that wasn't easy. Now when I get home I will probably be cold. Ha

A SUMMER DAY

Finally,

I guess in gettiing summer weather so fast the snow pack is melting too fast and some people in North Idaho are flooding. I keep them in my prayers.

The door is open wide and my babies (4 furry creatures) are on the loose. How they enjoy getting out of the house as much as I do. I worked at Ruthies yesterday and will go there again on Friday. She is 87 and we have the best time together. She once was a Christian Missionary in China, what stories she tells.

Still working away at the April Showers Zine project for this year. I may go for premade journals and do a cut and paste for the pages. I have 21 pictures to post out of 29 players

which I think is a decent turn out. It should be a nice thank you for playing gift, I'm hoping.

This scan is rather fuzzy, but it's okay for now. This is some of the art work for the
April Shower Trade and Nervousness.vB. I had 37 people sign up but the actual participation
turned out to be 28, with a maybe on 29 if I get mail from Canada in time. I am going to be making
a zine/booklet with each artists card featured on the cover and hopefully have some meet the artist pictures
included throught out the creations. It is getting to truly be spring...yeaH! Summer here we come. I may
get in some camping trips this year...I like that. We will have to see how
many pictures I will take on my digital camera and what inspirations I will
find along the way for art. TaTa for now. LOL, mstrish

Here I am again just pushing buttons. Now it's already 2008
and a year later. You know one of my friends told me that this
is the year of NEW BEGINNINGS. Isn't that cool. Yes I have to
admit that there are so many changes going on, and good ones I
have to admit. I just don't know if I got the pictures loaded up
that I wanted. We shall see if I'm getting better at this. 1-30-2008

Just another day

Its just another day, cold and ready to snow. I love being home and
relaxing by the fire. I did manage to make a CD of my art work for
my friends to see what I've been up to. Maybe I can figure out how
to share it here. Since my last post, my God Daughter ...Patricia
had a baby girl. She is precious. I wish with all my heart that I could
be with them this Christmas. I believe in miracles and the power of
prayer. Will check back in in a few weeks. Trish

Darn, it's getting cold already. I have officially started up the woodstove but I did
breakdown and buy a small electric heater just to keep the computer/art area a little
warm while I'm working in this part of the studio. Yes, it's almost October...yikes
where does the time go...? I have and am up to my eyebrows in Decos to sign and I
have sent a bunch of ROAK envies out this week. I also have some trades going...
scavenger hunt atc's and b/w zine that will be nearing completion in October. It
will give me something to do on the cold winter nights. (32degrees)
I have a friend comming over from Portland to help me winterize some stuff and
just visit. So looking forward to company. Anyway...not much other news on this

It's July....I am not sure where the time goes, all I know is that it does.
I am still up my arm pits in art work, getting confused sometimes on mail
outs which isn't a good thing. I have now established a better system/sorting
so that I don't have too many stupid screwups....enough of those and no one will
ever want to play with me again.
I volunteered to co-mod at oad and lmao so I hope that I'm doing okay there.
Cleaning data bases and the like. I could use some good ideas and some hints
on protocol.
My trip to Kansas City....very nice
Would like to go to see my best friend in California...maybe in September.
My God-Daughter having a baby girl in October. Would like to go to her baby shower. Fingers crossed\ more later.

I'm so confused with this blogg stuff. I had Yahoo now I have Google
I'm not that good at keeping track...
Today is still cold, but a little sunshine has peaked out and when it
comes in the window I like to stick my face in it to feel the warmth.
How amazing. Okay, I'm doing Deco's and Hosting an AtC swap at
Nervousness. I love the mail art groups and I hope I'm considered a
good swapper. It's almost lunch time and I'm going to make a hamburger
for myself. Now you'd think this is no big deal, but since my Mom died
eating has been sporatic so a hamburger is a big deal.
I'm also getting a little better at the chaos of paperwork, art supplies,
filing. If you've never been through so many losses you'd never imagine
the paper wars. Well, I just wanted to check in with myself and keep up to
date of all that I feel. It is fun to reread what is on my mind at a later date.
Life is pretty good, lonely but good. Mstrish

Oh My
My first ever deco for someone else made it home. Penster
at Nness got her Heart Deco and she likes it. It is a good
feeling and the reason I got involved in the art community in the first place. Plus I have received several cards for my Mom's passing from people that I trade with as well as RAOKs
from new people. Today I'm going shopping if I can tear myself away from the internet and doing art.

Another day in Paradise

It's cold, foggy (freezing) and I have a toothache. I just wished
that I would stay well for awhile, since funds are limited and
medical/dental work is so darn expensive for the unemployed.
I don't want to apply for all the county aide stuff (too proud)
but it may come to that. What to do. Always the question.
Think I'll go back to sleep for awhile.

Another day...Looks like my February will be a little busy with
dig sitting, but Dutches (the guest) really likes Hoover(my love) and helps him with his missing his Mom and mine. I think I will go on a Ski Trip on the 10th, 11th, and 12th. I've
never been skiing before, mostly because I don't like the snow.
I just thought that I need to get out and this is a church event
that may just be what I need. Who knows.

It's been a long time since I've blogged. Change and growth
are the main themes in my life just now. My beloved Mother
passed away on January 7, 2007 and dealing with this event
is so terribly difficult. When I have thought about faith I have
never thought of the depth it entails. I am very certain that
my Mother is ever present. Even when I'm cleaning the house, dishes...etc. I have had so many cards from art friends
as well as a few RAOKS. What is suprising is that they are from artists that I have never traded with. It blows me away
and inspires me to do more myself. RAOKS is how I got involved in the first place. I must update the About Me section I guess. It is hard to have a divorce finalized and lose a
parent at the same time. I have so many last names now it is hard for even me to keep track. I will blog about my Mom's passing at a later date because the story is so beautiful and I want to share it. ME

More about Zines

Okay, a few more have shown up in the mail....I love
the feedback. It was worth all the work just to have
so many people love what they got. I guess I should
ask around if anyone else wants one...no one has asked.
I organized the leftovers from this project and I think I
do have enough to do several more. I must have gotten
carried away when I was printing..hehehe
I'm winding down this job and have a little more vacuuming
to do then I'm off to go home and check in with Mom to see
how she is doing. I still need to fix my cord downstairs so
that I can get online again. I took it apart so that I could hook
the telephone up closer to where my Mom is laying down and
then she can answer the phone as she pleases. I did the same
with the intercom and she can call downstairs easier too.
We were going to have company but I think that has been put
on hold as of today. Oh well.
I want to go to Michael's Art Store and window shop. I love
that place and they are having a good sale right now. As usual
when I have an extra 10.00 I can never find anything I want
and when I totally broke..omg.
I did a few watercolors for a blind swap with a gal in Kentucky
I have to get these in the mail today or tomorrow. Gonna run
along and get stuff done.

Dully Noted
Well, Mom is faring a bit better, but modern medicine just
isn't helping much. She got out of the house with me for
an hour today, but was really exhausted when we got home.
I still feel so sad for her, and sometimes I can't even hug her
because it hurts her too much...that's rough.
Tonight the sky was breathtaking. The clouds are beginning
to come together (storm) but the Big Dipper made its appearance and it was spectacular. I love unusual skys.
Got the Haiku Zine finished and mailed the 14 players each
an original "handmade" zine. I maxed out my budget so any
others getting mailed will have to recoup expenses.
Have a couple of trades going at DAD, LMAO and OAD.
(destinyartdeco,landmailartobjects, and originalartdecos)
I hope no more mail gets lost, I really hate lost mail.
I'm getting antsy to find out how everyone felt about the
zine...I put so much into them.
It's getting cold, very cold at night that I am now using the
woodstove again...oooh wood heat...the best. If I ever have
the funds I want to get a woodstove with a window so that I
can watch the fire, if I do that now I risk the chance of getting
too much smoke in the place...not cool.
Even though we live close to civilization...this is really still
forest land. I like living in the country, miss the ocean tho
but not the big cities and the traffic.
I do have the traveling bug no doubt. I would like to go to
Germany to stay with a cousin for a bit, but can't leave my
Mom here alone and I'm not sure she can make the trip.
Everyday is a mystery as to how she will be feeling. Tonight
she has been queasy and I imagine will not be able to keep
dinner down. I know this is a creepy subject...just have to
get it out. I feel helpless. Hum...

Well, it has been a rough day for my poor mom. She has such
horrible pain and I've been at the doctor's office with her for
most of the afternoon. She is resting tonight and I shall see
how she feel in the morning. I don't want her to be so sad
but the pain has gotten to much to take. My wishes that she
gets some relief. Will check in later on this subject. T.

Well little blogspot...I've made it back from another year out at the Lake.
It was the hardest work I've yet to undertake and I did just fine. I'm expanding
in areas that I never even dreamed I would...like cooking. I made some yummy dinners
the biggest crowd was for 23. We had steak and salmon, twice baked potatoes, caesar
salad, and steamed broccoli. A really nice actor/director flew in from LA and I think
he enjoyed his stay. Even thanked me for the meal...can you stand it. I guess I have alot
of work on perceptions when it comes to people. Anywho...it felt good to be be able to
make a difference for even one moment in time. My bosses were just fab to me, it was so
hard to say goodbye to them. I made a point to talk to them in the evening before they left
because I knew that I would have a rough time saying goodbye in the morning. I will however
need to take a week off to recoup. There are killer stairs at the lodge....no kidding.
I have some awsome photos of the Lake and even enjoyed a good thunderstorm yesterday during the
winddown, cleanup. I am blessed!

The divorce papers are filed so we are half way home.

Still trying to get too many things done at once.
Have an evening to rest and relax. Need to soak
my sore foot. Done with this job on Sunday and will
be home for a week...need to catch up on more art
and get an even better handle on it. Washed windows
today, it was alot more fun than I thought it would be and they looked so Good when they were done. Windex has a product out that you hook to the garden hose and spray/rinse it off that if fab at getting off bird
snot. I'm burnt out on cleaning for now. I hope that I don't have to do anymore for this next week. It is
going to be hot here as predicted. Gonna run take a nap.

I'm off again to Hayden Lake and the "Job". Today is more spring cleaning but I'm almost done. My mom helped yesterday and we each worked 7 hours so today
she is resting...which is a good thing. It's nice to make some decent money so that I can get my car insurance paid up for the year again and have no worries about it. I'm off housesitting tomorrow again
so starts the Crazy July I'm about to have. Art is happening, now I just need to have the time to settle down in one place to get it done.

Hello Blogg,
haven't been here for awhile. I've helped create some awesome
art this week. I often wonder if there is another otherworldly
influence in all this and I'm sure there is. My last blog was
pretty sad. Listening to some of my favorite music today I sent
my thoughts, prayers, wishes on to my friend on his Journey from
us. I know he is close still, but I know grief keep him at arms
length. I didn't think that at this point in my life I would ever
have friends that mean as much to me, but I was wrong. I have several
very special people that I correspond with who accept me just as I am,
encourage me to create, and listen to my babble for what it is...babble.
I'm so blessed that they were sent my way because I needed them so very
badly. And probably will for some time to come. I question my artwork
the same as I question my life...with that same insecurity and I struggle
so hard to overcome. Is that the lesson? I feel like there is another
person living in this same body with me. When I look in the mirror I see
her, when I look inside I see me. I can't identify the feelings I have
about this...T.

Today I lost a very dear friend and a piece of my heart. Harlan died after a very brief bout with Cancer. We met when I was 16 and he was the love
of my life...first crush type thing. I just got
reconnected with him in his final months here. We
had a wonderful beginning and ending, and I'm no good

Hum...have been enjoying the Spokane River and the storms passing by on
their way to Montana. On the other side of the river they are building a gazebo
for weddings...I guess there is a B&B up there, but I can't seemuch for the trees...pine. I had a chance to take alot of moody pictures and flowers with
rain drops. I might have a photography job comming up in July...I'm excited
about this opportunity. If these people like my work I could see more comming my way as they are very connected socially. Ohhhhhh. I finished the 25 images in 25 days and I liked them so I'm hoping that the hostess does too. Have been playing in Scribble a bunch today and wishing I had a printer on this computer, but no luck
I will play with it when I'm home. It is so much fun. I wonder how long it would take to do these freehand. I wish I could travel meet some of my online friends
there are some really special people out there. My friend in California is having a rough time needs to move again and has pets which makes it next to impossible to find housing. I always get sad that I can't help her. I think that I
may run an idea by her to visit......Love my digital camera...want to continue to learn how to use this blogg so that I can post interesting things. Later...trish

Well only a couple of days and my Mom will be 77. Where oh where have all the years gone? We are going
out for Chinese food...her favorite. It has been so
incredible to have my Aunt here....they are having alot
of fun and doing things together on the land...nice gardening things. (not my cup of tea)
We went to church this morning and it was nice. I get
to go home in a few hours...around 4:00. Then I have
a bunch of stuff to put away at home...reorg the art
committments for time/deadlines. Boot up the computer there and print some of the photography I've got to complete yet another swap. I haven't noticed that there are too many new swaps opening up at Nness just
yet, maybe that is a good thing I'm much too busy to be tempted to join yet another swap. Want to wrap up the April Showers Swap and file away info. I did get info on the Zines...I'm hoping that the cost isn't out of my reach...have my heart set on getting this off the ground. I'm thinking I will probably be doing alot of them by hand...have to save up for another color cartridge for photographs. My scanner should double as a photocopier...now where to get some interesting paper...besides white computer paper. Hum.

What a fun day...went thrift store shopping with my Mom and Aunt. We found neat stuff and it is a great
way to learn all the similarities (sp) and differences
in our tastes. The best for me was the book deals today three places had half off on all their books.
There wasn't much in the reference art section, but I found other things to peak my interest. I could kick
myself..I left my camera over at my home and then went to my home away from home just to have the most gorgeous double rainbow event....man...Well I did get to enjoy it in all its grandeur. I want to learn how to use my digital camera as a mini video maker. I love what aimhleas does on her blog site....and I can't even manage to post a photograph...now I know I'm not stupid and incapable but this has been very hard for me to figure out ...which I still haven't. I sometimes wish for DSL because dial up sucks, but I won't continue to complain...I at least have a computer and internet....that's one hell of a step up from bread and water.
I can tell that my mother is really happy to have her sister here...I know that she is tired and not saying anything, she's such a trooper. We giggled at the Hot
Sauce that Ushi likes on everything...I thought it was
rather tasty, but yes it was hot. So much fun...it's got to be up there on my moments to remember list.

Still don't have the hang of this yet, so I'll give it another shot before abandonment. Thank goodness it's mine and I can mispell without having to apologize..hehe.
Got an awesome link from ilovelillies at Nness on zines. I am so smitten with them, but I would want nothing but the best and I am not fully prepared for the cost. I guess that is why they all have a nominal fee to get...helps with production. So many people at
Nness have offered money to help...it's pretty overwheleming to think that in this day and age that kind of generousity still exists.

I have so much running through my processing mind,
some of it I don't like. It's stuff I've been running from for two years and I'm so tired. I don't think that I will ever be the me I knew before. Looking at the pictures just doesn't help bring me back. But, I don't want all this pain in my blogg...I want art it completes me.

I could do a zine about family stories...omg it would rip. I need help from some of my "writer" friends
who have a command of the language that makes me want more...that's what I want in my zine....to make the reader want more.

Well, I can't order on the internet and I'm sure that my friend Don in Portland is just too busy to go shopping. I'll have to ask around at the clubs and the members that live in the area what they think. I don't have the money to drive to Portland right now. I'm tired of being held hostage by the price at the gas pump. I'm tired of alot of things right now so I would have to say the mood of this blogg is grey.

Oh that brings back a wonderful memory of a date I once
went on. My friend at the time wanted to know what I wanted to do and I said take me somewhere "green"...it was January in California so not too difficult. He took me to the most amazing overlook on Mt. Tamalpais
which took my breath away. Green takes me there, green keeps me there.

I think this blogg will be a continuation and I won't sign off like I would in a letter. Just because I can........

I finally got a thumbnail picture posted to Nness. Now I want to see
if I can get my pictures posted here. Who to ask? We got to rest today
and I finished the Altered Altoid Tin. I'm really happy with it, but I
don't think I will do anymore...I had such a difficult time getting what I
wanted with my limited resources. Now I have to mail it away. I just took
a couple of pictures of it...well on to the other difficult projects I have
going on. I think it is way to easy to get overcommitted thinking that one can
do all these things and then find out when he/she sits down to do them it isn't
that easy after all. I'm stressing a little about the round robin, because I don't
want to mess up anyones painting and there are such totally talented artists in this
grouping and I'm ...well just learning could sum it up nicely. It's like they are in
college and I'm in kindergarden kind of talented. I did buy the paper and it cost a bloody
fortune, which I'm sure the postage will not be cheap either. I hope my next job runs the
duration of time committed, I need the money to be able to send this around and also do the
April Showers swap which comes in my mind. I really get a kick out of the conversations
in the forums. Aimhleas, Tam, and Wrick really get things going and they have such awsome
ideas...it's timeless. Plus they can make me laugh which is a good thing. I like to laugh.
I've been sad...hum...bad news this week...was hard. I hope my Mom gets to feeling better too.
I don't like it when she is in pain and I can't help her. Okay, now just how to redo this site

Man this stuff is frustrating. i have all these beautiful scans of the April Shower ATC trades and i don't have a clue how to get them to the nness forums
for the people to see. I just want to drop kick this
computer and the blog and everything. I will have to ask for some help because i can't sit here all night
trying to get this done and I don't have all day tomorrow to mess with this either. so bitchy today.
